ABOUT
The Jackettes are a highly capable, slightly unpolished band from St. Petersburg, FL, playing 70s pop/rock styles with a modern and experimental twist. They are on an endless pursuit of timelessness. The kind of songs your mother loved, the kind of songs your grandkids will play when you're long gone. Is it pop, is it rock, does it matter? The Jackettes are here to stay, for better or worse.

The Jackettes currently are:
Jackson Davis - vocals, keys, guitar
Logan Coates - drums, percussion
Dallas Eubanks - guitar
Dylan Gunn - bass

KIND WORDS
"Ear pop candy. Here’s one we’ve been playing on the radio show for past the 18 months…yet somehow failed to pimp here on the ye olde information superhighway. Let’s remedy that right now. While we don’t have the Jackettes CV in front of us (pretty sure they are from Florida), here are some sonic contemporaries: imagine a frothy swirl of early Dr. Dog, Richard Swift, Foxygen and Whitney. Tastes good, no?" - AQUARIUM DRUNKARD
"I don't think I listened to a local release more than I listened to this one [Endless Bummer] from The Jackettes." - RAY ROA, CREATIVE LOAFING
"Simply put, the new album from The Jackettes is gorgeous. From the opening, vintage horn-laced “Main Theme,” to the last, lilting organ swells of “23 Years,” The Jackettes Live The Endless Bummer lifts listeners up, spins them around and makes an individual feel not like the most important person in the world, but like one of the so many important people collectively, confusingly, trying to navigate life on this dizzying blue planet we all call home."
- RAY ROA, CREATIVE LOAFING "ALBUM RELEASE WRITE UP"
"The quartet’s recent full-length, 2015’s And Then He Found His Flubber Soul, is R&B-soulful rock with heavy ’70s AM roots rock and ’60s psychedelic qualities, driven by keyboards that groove and swing between lushly soulful organ tones and more rollicking and rolling piano melodies, and Davis hitting falsetto notes that’d make Prince proud, as well as dipping into deeper tenors." - LEILANI POLK, CREATIVE LOAFING "THE MUSIC ISSUE"
"First up came The Jackettes, whose vibe reminded us of cotton candy at the fair and fresh rain on green grass, and their laid back care-free attitude was absolutely infectious. Laughter couldn't help but bubble up as we soaked up their corny sense of humor and groovy sounds. You were literally listening to Davis' life story in the words of the man himself." - LYNSEY JUNE "DEA" & JOSH "SAINT" WHITE, CREATIVE LOAFING
"Best band of the day [at Gasparilla Music Fest.] - Jackson Davis. They have free downloads. Check them out and tell me I'm wrong." - LEE 'FLEE' COURTNEY, MUSIC DIRECTOR WMNF 88.5
"It’s been a while since we’ve been handed some new Happiness Machine jams. These aren’t them, but they are a bit similar. Led by Machine keyboardist Jackson Davis, a new band — The Jackettes — has given us a tune to warm our tushes. “Supermarket Blues” is marked by cosmic, M.Ward-loving sunny guitars, vocals awash in the mix, and a slow n' steady drumbeat. An accompanying video clip is equally dreamy..." - RAY ROA, CREATIVE LOAFING
"The ivories-stroking whiz (formerly of Happiness Machine) is quietly compiling a fine solo repertoire with a rotating roster of instrumentalist friends backing his well-wrought passages on piano, organ and keyboards. The result is like a blend of warm ’70s AM rock and soul music filtered through a technicolor lens, vibrant, lush and kind of groove-warped, too. His falsetto-reaching wails and deeper resonant croons are an added bonus." - CREATIVE LOAFING
"Jackson Davis heads the rotating roster of Jackettes on swanky keys, his sound like soul music as seen through a technicolor lens and somehow full and lushly textured while still feeling kind of groove-warped and experimental, too."
- LEILA POLK
"The Jackettes are the best band in the world!" - THE JACKETTES' MOTHERS
